East Elementary Library Mission Statement:

East Elementary School Media Center will provide a variety of genres, reading levels, and media formats for use by students, teachers and other staff members. The collection shall be diverse and appropriate for students in kindergarten through third grades.  The media center shall provide resources for the curriculum established by classroom teachers, as well as assessment requirements.  The media center shall make great effort to guide students in choosing and locating materials for researching topics, achieving success in reading assessments and books for personal enjoyment.
